Partnership Assembly Meeting (PA3): Cologne

Marking its first year in operation, the PA allocated Preparation Phase Funding to all 15 of its Implementing Country Participants, following presentations from a final group of countries: Brazil, India, Jordan, South Africa and Vietnam. The PA also finalized criteria for the allocation of Implementation Phase Funding, which will be allocated to countries as they finalize Market Readiness Proposals.

8. Election of Co-Chairs for PA4
In accordance with the Governance Framework, the World Bank will chair the first two meetings of the PA. Subsequent meetings will be co-chaired by a representative elected, respectively, from the Contributing Participants and from the Implementing Country Participants. Co-chairs serve for one PA meeting. Contributing and Implementing Country Participants meet separately to elect their respective co-chair. Each group announced the results of their decision to the PA.
