Public Seminar on Carbon Markets and the Paris Agreement

This public seminar was co-hosted by Ministry of Environment of Japan (MOE), Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) and the Partnership for Market Readiness (PMR). The seminar disseminated current information on carbon markets around the world, and provided an opportunity to discuss the expected role of the Paris Agreement for promoting carbon markets. Representatives from private industries, governments, consultancies, research institutions, universities and NGOs in Japan participated. Simultaneous English/Japanese interpretation was provided.
