Pathway to Achieving National Determined Contributions (NDCs): How LEDs can help countries advance climate action (Kyiv)

The PMR held its 18th Assembly Meeting, in Kyiv, Ukraine, from April 24 to 27, 2018. Prior to this meeting, the Government of Ukraine hosted a high-level event to showcase how Ukraine is currently working towards aligning its Low Emission Development Strategy (LED) with the commitment put forward in its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC). The event was divided into two sessions: (1) Showcasing Ukraine’s work on developing the LED country strategy; and (2) Illustrating how work in other PMR countries ties to the achievement of their NDCs, how support from the PMR has helped them to do so, and what strategies countries’ have employed to align national sector policies with their NDCs.
